Our Sustainable Fabrics
LRG is currently transitioning into using more eco-friendly fabrics in our apparel and accessories items. The current fabrics being used are organic cotton and recycled polyester certified by the Global Recycled Standard. These fabrics allow LRG to provide customers with quality items that reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions.
Greening Our Operations:
Headquarters runs on 100% renewable energy through CCA. The building is a certified California Green Business meaning the facility is highly energy efficient, conserves water, diverts waste materials, and incorporates sustainability into the work community.
Sustainable Packaging
LRG has transitioned into 100% recycled plastic packaging for all online orders. The e-commerce facility has implemented a plastic film recycling program expected to recycle 100,000 pounds of plastic film annually.
LRG x One Tree Planted:
LRG has partnered with One Tree Planted to encourage reforestation efforts. Sustainable items in partnership with One Tree Planted and Plant A Tree Day will be launching in September
TAKE BACK PROGRAM
Did you know that an average of 85% of textiles produced end up in landfills around the world, where they may take 200+ years to decompose?
As part of our MadSustainable platform and our commitment to decreasing end-of-life waste, we have created the LRG Take Back program where you can return your unwanted LRG products to avoid filling up the landfills. Goods that are returned to us will be recycled for other uses and you will not only benefit by knowing that you are helping the planet but also receiving a coupon code to shop.
