The Lifted Research Group (LRG) was founded in 1999 when Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright – random acquaintances at the time - met to make tunes with a mutual friend’s garage band.  Jonas learned that Robert was a clothing designer, so they ended up collaborating and sharing their ideas.  From there on out, they worked on turning the dream into a reality.  With a small investment from 2 family friends in 1999, these two visionaries took an idea and turned it into a worldwide recognized brand. Fast forward 25 later, LRG has maintained its presence as a solid, prospering brand and is recognized as a trailblazer and true original in the industry.


LRG has worked with some of the best skateboarders and music artists in the game including Drake, Kanye West, Travis Scott, De La Soul and The Roots.  With the release of two full length skate videos (Give Me My Money Chico and 1947) LRG has its roots deeply planted In skateboarding. LRG has done high profile collaborations with the likes of T Mobile (Sidekick 3), G Shock and the Wu Tang Brand to name a few.  


Twenty Five years in the game is a true testament to originality, brand building and authenticity. Much gratitude to the entire “group” for your support on this journey. Thank you for supporting the ones who support you.
