This is an 18+ event that is open to the public. Admission is free.

Los Angeles, CA - On July 15th, 2023, LRG, in partnership with Gallery 90220 is holding an exhibition that tells the story of LRG and the brand’s connection to Hip Hop culture. Through this exhibition, we honor Hip Hop turning 50 years old by featuring never seen photos of icons such as Kanye West, The Roots, Drake, Wale, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, and Raekwon. In addition, the LRG museum will also showcase exclusive and exciting collaborations which will be open for viewing until August 15, 2023. 

 

 

This is a historic moment as LRG bares its’ history on display in a contemporary art gallery for the first time ever. Unique programming will include an artist talk with legendary LRG photographers, accompanied by the brand's first ever outdoor cookout that highlights music, fashion, live performances including Yoshi Vintage and other surprise guests. Sounds will be provided by one of LA’s own top artist, DJ Faucet, who is next up to carry on the legendary musical torch from the long lineage of Compton creatives. Also included is a special panel discussion featuring legendary LRG photographers Kareem Black, Larence Tanjuaquio, Kyle Camarillo, Quang Le and LRG Co-Founder, Robert Wright.
