Tsu which is short for “Tsunami” is the name acquired on the battle scene because just like a “Tsunami”, he wrecks what he comes across. LRG takes an in depth look at Newark, NJ mc Tsu Surf as he describes what it’s like to walk through the mean streets of New Jersey and to be one of (URL) Underground rap league’s number one gladiator in their arena of battle mc’s. Tsu tells us a 4 part story from the bottom to top about growing up in the hood of Newark where it’s eat-or-be-eaten.

Built in 1938 by William Alexander, the concrete and steel home was commissioned by explorer-writer Richard Halliburton and designed to be an inspirational reminder to think outside. Everyone’s favorite Parisian, Supe, aka Le Team Manager, let’s LRG into his studio for some black book sessions. Black books have served as the traditional sketchbook for writers since the first days of graff and Supe has been at them since he was first introduced to graffiti. He has been painting in the streets since the early 90′s and over the past years has begun to bring his work into the galleries, most recently with Lieu 37 in Paris. Supe continuously produces many zines each year and a limited edition book “Le Team Manager” was released through Classic last year. Along with Diego, Supe is a founding member of FMK crew.

Larry Lovebone
It’s often disputed in the world of graffiti just who was the first writer to put their moniker up illegally. The vanguard of American graffiti artists, including REVOK, RIME and SABER contribute to the legend of Larry Lovebone, who many art historians have disregarded and omitted from the chronicles of style-writing due to his other cultural contributions during the sexual revolution in the 1960s. In his own words, Mr. Lovebone tells the tale of his infamous tag and its origins in his ability to bed copious amounts of women from every race, culture, creed and religion.
