Fuck The Buff Exclusive Shirt and Hoodie Release

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

In the continuing pursuit to stop major cities and small towns alike from putting their palomino beige touches over pieces of monumental graffiti and street art, LRG and Windy City graff legend, Pose, have teamed up for the “Fuck the Buff” line of T-Shirts. The censoring of expression in the most literal of forms, the shoe is on the other foot as Pose allows his signature colorful pop-art-infused graphics to burst through the powerful text. The result is a battle cry more than it is a motto. Click to purchase the shirt and hoodie.

Skate The Void – A Photo Journal

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

The Land of the Rising Sun holds a special place in the heart of skateboarders because of the duel nature of its existence. On one hand, the advanced technology allows visitors a chance at seeing some of the most cutting edge products and places that have yet to make it to the States. On the other hand, Japan still maintains an old school vibe – complete with beautiful architecture and a way of treating people that always makes us feel right at home when we visit. Our latest trip was arguably one of the best and most successful we’ve ever had. When it’s time to head back home, the first thing everyone asks is, “when are we coming back?”

Artist Driven – First to do It “The Pantyhose Robber”

Monday, March 26th, 2012

1st To Do It chronicles some of the most innovative, daring and unknown maverick’s in the fields of art, music, sports, fashion and culture. Through arduous research, spanning the stacks at toppled libraries to unearthed microfilm, these pioneers were the first people to do things that seem quite commonplace in today’s society. 1st To Do It is an ongoing series of short documentaries that sheds a much needed light on the people who made their mark first.

The Pantyhose Robber: When pointing a 12-gauge shotgun in someone’s face and demanding “all the money in the register,” it’s wise to cover one’s distinguishing characteristics. After dabbling in an array of disguises over his 30 + years in the field of armed robbery, an unsavory fellow looked for a new get-up that would distinguish him from the other stick up men in the rough-and-tumble city.
